In November 2020, it was revealed that My Time at Sandrock takes place on a 40% larger map than My Time at Portia and the player will face a harder challenge to collect even basic resources. The first visual of the game was released on Aug, depicting a young character with short black hair (later confirmed to be the male default player character, Max) overlooking a foggy, moody scene. A Kickstarter campaign for My Time at Sandrock launched in October 2020. ![]() In October 2019, the purported Sandrock DLC was confirmed to not be a DLC at all, but rather a new game. No official news about it was announced and few details were given at the time. Despite this, a multiplayer Sandrock DLC was mentioned since early 2018 in various developer comments on Steam. More languages will be supported in Early Access.ĭuring My Time at Portia's extended Kickstarter campaign, a DLC set in Sandrock was listed as the ultimate stretch goal, but this goal was not reached. The demo and beta version are both only available in Chinese and English. Some months after Early Access ends and Sandrock officially releases on PC, it will launch on the Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox One, and Sony PlayStation 4 and 5.Ī Mac release is not currently planned, though it is a possibility more information regarding a Mac version may be given closer to the official release of the game. You knew this would happen. The game will first be available on Windows 10 PCs via Steam, Epic Games, and WeGame. Devs, honestly, you made that character fancreature-nip. (I yearn to fix Remington's haiiirrr.)Īlso, oh man, the revolt that will happen if Logan truly isn't romance-able. Actually, there are a bunch of graphics mods over there, but I haven't gotten all of them to work, yet. ![]() Do check out Nexus Mods for a few Portia mods that alter the graphics to make them less fuzzy. Sounds delightful, Te :) I've yet to play Portia but I got it recently when it was 75% off and so I'm already looking to play that whilst Sandrock is still in development. I love the way the My Time games handle this. I love games that let me make things better/more organized/more beautiful, and if there's a chance to make people happy in them? All the better.
